Your customers, employees, the media, and investors (i.e. your target audiences) receive thousands of daily messages from digital content, emails, text messages, advertisements, social media interactions, and the news.
To break through the noise, prioritizing effective communication with them is part of today’s corporate reality.
It is integral to defining your brand and maintaining your reputation.
However, creating and effectively delivering the right messages is vital.
Why Impactful Messaging Matters
Even go-getters need an outside perspective on how to shape their messages occasionally.
Unclear, outdated, or ineffective messages for your target audiences, at best, don’t resonate or, at worst, are ignored. Ineffective messages can make a good communication strategy ineffective.
Clear and impactful messages are foundational to an effective communication strategy, and our Communicate More Effectively Messaging Workshop will help you gain clarity and identify the messages you need to communicate to your target audiences.
For example, perhaps you lack a corporate or product story or even an executive’s story. Maybe you are launching a new product or company or shifting your business strategy. Whatever it is, in this session, we will pick the one area of your business that needs to be defined or refined so that you can communicate it.

How We Get There
We’ll ask the right questions and develop the foundational key messages for your communication in this area. For example:

Pre-Workshop Prep:
I will send you the short discovery questionnaire to help uncover your current communication messaging needs. I will customize the workshop’s structure based on your questionnaire and how you fill in the blanks in this statement: “It would be awesome if my communications messaging were [blank] so that I could [blank] without worrying about [blank].”*
* For example, one client wrote this:
“It would be awesome if we could develop the foundational messaging for our EV strategy so that the team can use it consistently communicate it to our key audiences, and I could help build out our global marketing while getting more free time to also work on other projects.”
Workshop Structure:
We schedule the 2-hour workshop, divided into two 60-minute sessions. We can do an in-person workshop in your office or handle it on Zoom. I can bring the coffee and pastries, which are better in person.

Session 1: We focus the first 60-minute session on a high-level discussion of the current business.

Session 2: We focus the second 60-minute session on the specific questions related to the messages.
Post-Workshop:
We deliver your messages and a Q&A document on the top questions your audience may ask. After the two sessions, I turn all the notes and ideas into a well-crafted draft of messages within a week. We will meet again to discuss them. To finalize it, I make up to two sets of refinements.
